This 270,000 SF project consists of a four-story limestone and glass clad steel frame structure built to house Santa Clara University’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathemat¬ics (STEM) education and research facilities. The STEM complex combines academic, research, adminis¬trative, social and innovation activity spaces in support of the university’s academic degree programs within the STEM and related fields. The new complex is occupied by faculty, students and staff within the STEM areas of study and by those outside the STEM fields. It also houses space and programs for partnerships with regional private industry and global social and environmental initiatives.
