Due to needs of the school, project required an involved phasing plan allowing portions of the existing building to remain occupied during construction.     Tasman Campus Building 1 San Jose, CA 3-story tenant improvement, MEP upgrade and exterior remodel within a 144,000 SF building, featuring a new 1st floor servery with back of house food prep areas and stadium style bench seating. Project consists of 1st floor automotive lab space including acoustical chambers and specialty bench labs. Upper floors feature full interior remodel of open office, central core support areas and restrooms, and complete replacement of HVAC infrastructure to support new building design requirements. The exterior scope consists of refresh and refinish of existing Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS) and code mandated ADA upgrades.   • Stanford Auxiliary Library 3.2

    Stanford Auxiliary Library 3.2 Livermore, CA This project includes the renovation of an additional 35,542 SF to existing the 38,000 SF library. The project includes a 23,511 SF book storage facility in three 7,737 square foot fire separated storage modules that are temperature and humidity controlled environment in mezzanines with in the modules. The module structure consists of pre-stressed precast colored and exposed aggregate concrete panel, fireproofed steel structure and in-rack pre-action fire sprinkler system. The process office expansion is 9,300 SF and consists of exposed CMU walls, curtain wall window system and clerestory glass exterior skin. Process office space also consists of temperature controlled film storage room, break room expansion, restrooms, offices and book scanning rooms. Site work includes expansion of parking lot, loop access road, landscape areas, patio, and a storm drain system to meet current C3 requirement.   • SCU Stevens Stadium

    SCU Stevens Stadium Santa Clara, CA New Stadium Entry Wall and Plaza – The new entry wall is approximately 350lf x 15’ tall and contains several new archway openings with decorative iron gates that serve as the main entrance into the stadium. Constructed with a combination of CMU, steel columns, metal studs and finished with lath & plaster, the top of the wall is capped with a clay tile roof element. There is also a new stand-alone sign wall constructed from CMU with precast caps and a plaster skim coat finish, located near Palm Drive and the entry walkway. The landscape along the wall and at the entrance is reworked, mostly to match existing, with new mature palm trees and tree grates. New Restroom Building – The new restroom building is approximately 1,600 SF and is constructed underneath the bleacher grandstand; it serves both men and women. The building is framed with metal stud load bearing walls to support a concrete over metal deck roof structure. The exterior is finished with lath & plaster, the interior is finished with water/mold resistant XP gyp board walls & ceilings, FRP, paint, and sealed concrete. ADA Improvements – The ADA improvements consist of removal of existing wood bleachers and hand rails at the east-side bleachers, and constructing small concrete retaining walls with new handrails that provide ADA seating areas along the concrete walkway. New Bleacher Grandstand with Elevator Tower and Press Box – The new grandstand consists of approximately 2,000 new seats, both bleachers and chair backs. There is an elevated platform supported with concrete over metal deck to house the modular press box, VIP lounge, restrooms and utility room. This platform is accessed by a new elevator tower constructed with a structural steel frame, metal stud in-fill and a lath & plaster exterior finish.     Kirkland & Ellis Palo Alto, CA This 30,000 SF complete interior renovation of a law firm features custom wood doors and frames; new two story lobby; conferencing center with complete AV systems and ability to open to the lobby via large sliding wood and glass doors.   • State Compensation Insurance Fund

    State Compensation Insurance Fund Vacaville, CA This project consists of three new 2-story buildings totaling 259,890 SF on a 32-acre site in the Vacaville, between Interstate 80 and Highway 505 at the intersection of Horse Creek Drive and Grassland Drive in the Vacaville Valley Business Park. The project site was master planned for a total build out of 430,000 SF (five each, 86,000 SF buildings) and required about 400 surface parking spaces per building. One of the buildings contains State Fund’s primary data center. The photovoltaic system generates up to 225kwH annually.   • San Antonio Village North

    San Antonio Village North Mountain View, CA Design/build mixed-use project organized into six blocks/buildings. Blocks 1 and 2 are underlain by a 4-level below grade parking garage totaling 472,000 SF. Each of the two blocks consists of a 6-story concrete building. The first floors of the two buildings feature retail/restaurant/commercial space totaling 54,000 SF and floors 2-6 feature office space totaling 451,000 SF. Blocks 3 and 4 are not included at this time. Block 5 consists of a large parking garage with 1-level below grade and eight levels above grade totaling 546,900 SF. The first floor consists of 12,600 SF of retail space. Block 6 features 19,000 SF of retail/restaurant on the first floor, and a 55,000 SF theater on the second floor.   • Zibco - Quality Bicycles

    Zibco - Quality Bicycles Spanish Springs, NV This project includes a 184,993 SF design/build Thermomass Insulated tilt-up panel building with 40’ clear height on a 10 acre site. The project features 15,000 SF of offices, warehouse office and warehouse restrooms, and consists of a carbon-neutral design with no gas to the building and includes installation of a partial solar array with the expectations to build out the maximum allowable solar array within one year after project demands can be determined. Project also features 16 dock positions with two oversized drive indoors and complete site retention/detention with no runoff to storm drain allowed. Project consists of a multitude of client input including the request to design the project to represent the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area, thus the use of reveals to create a mountainous theme on the front of the building. The exterior paint color selections are based on the usage of the QBP marketing color palette.   • Milpitas East Parking Garage

    Milpitas East Parking Garage Milpitas, CA 125,000 SF parking structure consisting of four levels with parking for 281 vehicles. The garage is a poured in place, post tension, beam and slab structure. The structure also includes space for a future restroom, which will be utilized by the new library. This project will also consists of minor office space, a janitor's room, an electrical and telecommunications room and sitework.     San Jose Civic Center San Jose, CA The 711,909 SF Civic Center was constructed in downtown San Jose on the south side of Santa Clara Street between 4th and 6th Streets. This project consists of an 18-story high-rise tower; housing the majority of administrative offices plus a public service center on the lower three levels. This project also features a lower wing with a 4-story Council Chambers, offices and public meeting rooms, a 4-story freestanding domed rotunda, a large central plaza, and one-level of below-grade parking.   • Greenwood Commerce Center

    Greenwood Commerce Center Napa, CA Project consists of a 226,000 SF concrete tilt-up building with a composite roof structure and Vulcraft truss joists, as well as a 78,000 SF concrete tilt-up building on a 19 acre site in Napa County. The project includes bio-retention for storm water, wetlands monitoring for a riparian creek that runs through the center of the site, a left-hand turn lane on Airport Blvd. and a reclaimed water line installation. Both buildings feature TPO roof systems with 5.5” of insulation. Additionally, both buildings are fitted with “Night Air Cooling” and are prepped for cased storage users. Both buildings also include loading docks, insulated, powered roll up doors, and are equipped with ESFR ready fire sprinkler systems.     Edwards Theatre Boise, ID On an adjacent block to the Boise Downtown development project, the development calls for a multi-use building including, retail, cinema and office space. The entire project features renovations to four city blocks in the historical section of downtown Boise. The building is connected to a highly significant historical building, which was renovated in conjunction to the four block developments.
